Fans of the genre will undoubtedly enjoy it, while it is probably hit and miss for others.

It sounds like the historical setting of this book is right up my alley. I love a dash (or more) of fantasy too. However, I'm not too big on romances being the central focus of fantasy-esque novels. I'm more into the "world building". How is that aspect of this book?

It's the central part of the book, being a romance first and medieval fantasy second.

Some of the world building is well thought out and worth a look, but be prepared to go through lots of romance to find it.

Fantasy is definitely my genre' and dragons are right there on top. I must read this one. Did you read Eragon and it's sequels? That's on my "need to read again" list. I will enjoy every minute of the book again!
