Forum Update

    The new forum is up and running. There have been a few quirks getting data across, and I'm sure we'll find new things out as it gets used.

    You will have to upload your own avatars and sigs though, for those who want them.

    Any issues or faults, please post below. Any request for nice things to add to the forum should go in Feature Requests.

    New board opened in Beta. Moved the stuff from the proboards on.

    The phpbb and comments are to follow.

    Forum will be acting as comments on reviews. Example here

    I like the look. For me, it is a lot easier to read.

    And I see you have custom titles working. It is hard to glare through a computer screen, but I am trying. Two questions: First how do I change it, and second was it Angel or porridge who suggested mine? (And my Avatar is not a pitchfork)

    Thread Prefixes are working. Users can use Game and Competition right now, with Reviews and News reserved. If you'd like anything else, let me know.

    An update from here:
    • More threads are ready to move
    • The board description has been fixed
    • The board is now linked from the front page of the main site and temporarily in the email header
    So far the users seem to like it (correct me if I'm wrong!). We've had trouble recovering some of the comments from the server move back in Feb/March, specifically posts with corrupted dates and threads, so if anyone has archives from that point, please get in touch.

    Suggested features are an author's board, and finishing linking all old news and review to comment threads.
